Overview

Whether you're helping to bring a ship to dock or just having fun in the dark, this Lighthouse project will brighten up your day.

Steps

1  Gather your Cubes, LEGO®s, and other materials.

2  Start with the 24-tooth gear and the 4 x 8 plate.

3  Place the 24-tooth in the center of the 4 x 8 plate, and push into place.
NOTE: Don't force it, it should go in lightly.

4  Gather the Motor, Battery, and LED Cubes and the short wire.

5  Attach the Light Cube to one side of the Battery Cube.

6  Attach the Motor Cube to the other side of the Battery Cube.

7  Attach the wire to the two posts, not touching the Battery's posts.

8  Gather the 24-tooth gear attached to the plate and the Cubes.

9  Insert the Motor Cube into the opening in the 24-tooth gear.

10  Gather your paper and scissors.

11  Make your own Lighthouse cover using colored paper or anything else you want!
NOTE: Be sure to fit your Lighthouse as you build the cover.

12  Turn on the Battery Cube, turn off the lights, and watch it spin.
