When you attach two markers to two wheels, you can start things spinning. Can you reverse direction? How will you draw? There's plenty of fun to be had on paper with this project. 


1  Gather your Cubes, building bricks, and other materials.

2  Attach two 16-stud rods to the bottom of the 4 x 8 plate on opposite sides.

3  Gather the axle and the bushing.

4  Attach the axle to the bushing and the bushing to the Motor Cube.

5  Connect the two 4-stud bricks.

6  Connect the two 4-stud bricks to the front of the 16-stud bricks on the 4 x 8 plate.

7  Attach the Motor Cube to the 4 x 8 plate, sliding the axle through the top middle hole of the 4-stud brick.

8  On the axle, attach (in this order): bushing, tire, two bushings, rim of a wheel, and one last bushing.

9  Attach the Battery Cube to the second half of the 4 x 8 plate, connecting it to the Motor Cube.

10  Wrap a rubber band around the tire.

11  Attach one marker to one side of the tire.

12  Attach one marker to the other side of the tire.

13  Cross the markers and start drawing!
